5 tips to lose weight by walking.

If you ask me: “How can I lose weight by walking?”

Perhaps you are thinking now: “Yes, there will be a blog with difficult tips, or should I go to a gym.” No. Today very simple tips. It is a matter of long-term thinking and working, but ultimately you will achieve a special result. So not in the short term you again in swimming trunks or bikini lines. No, it is not. Lose a few pounds in the long term. Next summer you can go in swimsuit or bikini.

Eat less, exercise more.

Insight into the body, especially in the burning process of calories, can help. For weight loss you’ll have to burn more calories than you eat. An open door? The insight. “Eat less, exercise more.”

The 5 tips. Lose weight by walking.

  1. Walk more often and further. To walk you do not only have to take your walking shoes. Get your groceries on foot or take a lunch walk. Try to walk every day. Maybe it helps to make a walking schedule. Fat burning only starts well after walking for half an hour. If you manage to walk more than 20 km, you will also notice this on the scales.
  2. Plan walking. You can make a walking schedule for achieving fitness. Try a longer walking tour. It also helps to simply book your walks in your agenda. Take your personal agenda into account and do not plan beyond your walking moments. No. You want to wear bikini or swimsuit again. So do not book over your healthy moments. They are gifts to yourself.
  3. Use all your muscles when walking. Strolling through the city won’t help you. It helps to put your body to work with an active walking position. Walk upright, move your arms and tighten your abs. It also helps to take a backpack with some extra weight, because that requires extra muscle input. Walk on different surfaces. Walking on loose sand or irregular terrain is good for your muscles and endurance. It helps with weight loss.
  4. Increase your pace. By increasing your walking pace after warming up, your heart and lungs work harder. The interval training, walking faster and then calming down, is an effective training. If you breathe heavily you are doing well. Pay attention. My experience is that alternating pace makes it fun again. If you walk in a focused manner for a while then you will notice that the condition also increases. A better condition is also good for your motivation.
  5. Match your walking to food and drink. Burning calories starts with a walk after eating. Skip a dessert. Take enough food and drinks with you on longer trips. Fat lunches while walking are not necessary. Drinking lots of water facilitates digestion. The body burns the food more easily and is less inclined to store everything in fats. Water removes waste and helps to combat hunger.

Perhaps the above 5 tips are open doors. Open them completely and make walking a sport. You can always say that you do sport. Be proud of yourself if you find yourself consciously taking a walk. It is really healthy. A person is made for walking and not to sit.

Good luck with walking and losing weight.

This Forest Mind Instructor has one free tip. Try to be very conscious outside and walk with attention. Be receptive to everything that presents itself. Be open to scents, weather, warmth, cold, sounds of nature around you. Become one with your environment.

If you have ever caught up at a party, then turn the ‘walking blues’ into a fun walking tour. After an hour of walking and drinking extra water, the troublesome hangover disappears. Psychologically, compared to bad behavior of yesterday evening, good behavior today. Your body will thank you. The dehydration is supplied with water through the effort. Pay attention. Do not run with a hangover, but simply walk and drink water.
